Anyway, the room was stunning, clean, and modern. That woman deserves some major kudos from management - as someone who has spent time in the service industry, I recognize a quality employee when I see one. There was a small issue getting our room keys activated, but Susie (I believe that was her name) was incredibly kind and apologetic, and let us into our room while she had the issue resolved, later bringing our keys up to us. A friend and I showed up without a reservation on Saturday evening, 12/30/17, and were pleased from the moment we walked in. Well, when the stars aligned and I needed a room in Jackson, I knew exactly where I wanted to go.
I was curious, as I’d never seen the name “Home2,” but figured that I’d never have a reason to check it out given its close proximity to home. I live about 45 minutes southwest of this hotel and watched it come to life during trips down 94. I rarely take the time to leave a review, but this place is worthy of an exception. We hope that you do choose to stay with us again next time you are in the Jackson area and hope the situation does not have an impact on your view of our hotel or the city of Jackson. (This bill was on auto pay and already paid). I received a call just last week from someone claiming they were with AT&T and wanted my credit card to pay a past due bill or threatened to shut my service off. This has been a well known scam for quite sometime nationwide that doesn't just impact hotels directly. As a safe measure in recognizing this scam, if any hotel does request this, please let them know you will come to the front desk to handle the situation. Our front desk agents as well as any hotel, no matter what the brand, should never ask for your personal information over the phone when you are an in-house guest.
